Towards the end of 2013, JLR Construction was commissioned to rebuild a carport.

The structure, which ran alongside of the customer’s house, needed to be lowered. It also had to be made fully watertight to allow an area to store cars and work upon them if required, as well as presenting a finish to appear as part of the house.

We used as much of the old structure as possible requiring a structural engineer to check this. The new timber framework was built around the original steel. A new rubber roof along with roof lights where installed to flood light into the carport and walkway.

This was a unique build that was built specifically around the house and garage.
